“I was checking all the boxes society, my parents, my internal stories told me to in order to be ‘happy’ and ‘successful’.
How could it be that one day, I broke down, uncontrollably crying, called my dad and said, I want to come home.”
Over the past 13 years, I have practiced and created my own unique body of work curated and influenced from so many different perspectives.
Maybe you can relate.
I am so honored and equally nervous to be writing my bio! I am first and foremost a mom, a wife, a woman and a dynamic wellness professional who enjoys every moment of helping others bring awareness to and have complete compassion for their thoughts, emotions and patterns in order to align with the present, and cultivate the fulfilled, sustainable futures they deserve. I care deeply about going inward. A human spends so much time in the outside world when there is an entire world and relationship waiting to be discovered and tended to within. When you go inward, you can tap into an infinite well of wisdom that has always been there. I bring an extensive 14+ year background involving the intricacies of presence consciousness, inner strength, and inspiring healthy mindset shifts through rooted focuses on somatic work and inner child work.
14 years ago, I was living in the Netherlands for work, climbing the corporate ladder, bought my first house and traveling the world. I was checking all the boxes society, my parents, my internal stories told me to in order to be ‘happy’ and ‘successful’. How could it be that one day, I broke down, uncontrollably crying, called my dad and said, I want to come home. Like a child, I just wanted his approval. Though successful by the book, I found myself in the crossfires of misalignment and internal friction – leading to intense burnout, panic attacks and anxiety. Eager to heal what created my dis-ease, I began delving deep into the humanistic studies of somatic, emotional, mental, behavioral, and unconscious relations. After a year of deep healing and spiritually awakening, I became inspired to help others do the same. Since then, and for the past 14 years, I have practiced and created my own unique body of work curated and influenced from so many different perspectives.
My husband, myself and our 3 children left Idaho in 2022 on what we thought would be a year long RV road trip but we’ve been called to plant roots in Cerritos Beach, Baja Sur California, Mexico and travel part time in the RV. Today, I am a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher with a firm pulse on the philosophies of yoga, including trauma-informed practices, emotional intelligence, yoga as a life path, somatic healing, and bhakti. In addition, I am currently completing the Institute of Coaching Mastery Program to become a Certified Coach with Clinical Somatic Psychotherapist, Alyssa Nobriga .
Overall, nothing makes me happier than helping all walks of life find their passions, see their worth beyond just productivity, and create a life of true authenticity. Some of the books that greatly influenced the trajectory of my life and style are The Body Keeps the Score, teaching how trauma reshapes the body and the brain and how to heal, The Heart of Who We Are highlighting finding unconditional love and acceptance for who we are, The Bhagavad Gita, The 4 Agreements and the Work by Byron Katie.
In the end, I am not here to tell anyone how to run their lives but merely to inspire them to just BE and look within to discover their own paths. Because if there is one thing for sure, everyone has the ability to break past the emotional, mental, physical, and even spiritual blocks that this world tends to instill…and sometimes all it takes is having a person in your corner who truly values the trajectory of your happiness and wellbeing just as much as you do to finally begin recognizing that for yourself. You already have all the answers within you waiting to be discovered.
